BUILD Institute is a Detroit non-profit that helps people turn their business ideas into reality by providing them with classes, tools, resources, and support networks to get their idea off the ground. Build Institute came to me to tell their story and help promote their Patronicity crowdfunding campaign for the construction of their new Corktown office at The Corner at Michigan and Trumbull.

To tell the story of Build, I met with many wonderful small businesses owners in Detroit neighborhoods including Castalia, Folk Detroit, Detroit Vegan Soul, The Farmer's Hand, Kinnie Media Group, Mama Coo's Boutique, Ocelot Print Shop, and Sisters Code. Each of these business owners has a deep passion for the city of Detroit and what Build Institute offered to them at the early stages of their business.
